My academic journey began at Namal University, where I completed my BSc (Hons) in Computer Science. Namal provided me with a strong foundation in problem-solving, critical thinking, and research, shaping my passion for Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision. I then pursued my Master’s in Computer Science at Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology (GIKI), where I deepened my expertise in Machine Learning and Deep Learning. The rigorous academic environment and exposure to research challenges further refined my skills, paving the way for my PhD at the University of Regina, Canada. Currently, I am a doctoral researcher in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science, focusing on Computer Vision, Deep Learning, and Precision Agriculture. My research aims to leverage AI-driven solutions to enhance crop monitoring, disease detection, and yield prediction, contributing to the advancement of sustainable agriculture.
Namal instilled in me the resilience, adaptability, and research mindset that continue to guide my academic pursuits. The university’s emphasis on innovation and learning beyond textbooks encouraged me to explore cutting-edge technologies and push the boundaries of AI applications in real-world problems.
To the students at Namal: Dream big, stay curious, and never stop learning.
