By-Elections

• If any executive position becomes vacant, the President or Secretary will notify the Steering Committee, which will subsequently announce elections to fill the vacant post.
• The nomination process for the announced seats will begin shortly after and applicants will campaign online until the voting process begins.
• Candidates interested in running for office must meet eligibility criteria and undergo a verification process to be considered for nomination.
• The Steering Committee will disqualify candidates who do not meet these criteria.

General Eligibility Criteria for all Nominees

• The candidate must not have any disciplinary case against him/her and should demonstrate a professional demeanor.
• The candidate must not be an active member of the Executive Committee/Council of the Alumni Association of any other university locally or abroad.
• The candidate must be able to dedicate the required time to run the affairs of Namal Alumni Association.
• The candidate must not have any criminal record and should not be involved in harassment at workplace.
• Preference shall be given to candidates with proven track record of social work and entrepreneurial spirit. Such candidates will have to share supporting documents for proof and impact of their work.
