Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Embedded Systems Engineer to join our hardware and IoT development team. This role focuses on designing, developing, testing, and debugging firmware for microcontrollers, wireless communication modules, and IoT systems. You will work closely with
hardware engineers to ensure seamless hardware–software integration and contribute to building reliable, connected embedded solutions.
Position Details
Location: Onsite, DHA Phase 8, Lahore
Timings: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Type: Full-time
 
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, optimize, and debug embedded firmware in C/C++ for microcontrollers and wireless SoCs.
Work with RTOS environments (e.g., Zephyr, FreeRTOS, or similar) for scheduling, peripheral integration, and power management.
Perform board bring-up and low-level driver development (UART, SPI, I²C, GPIO, ADC, PWM).
Analyze and interpret schematics and PCB layouts to troubleshoot hardware–firmware integration issues.
Collaborate with hardware design engineers to validate designs and resolve integration challenges.
Conduct testing and debugging using J-Link, SWD/JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
Optimize embedded systems for low power, stability, and wireless connectivity.
Work on IoT system integration (AWS IoT, Azure IoT, Golioth, or similar platforms) including secure connectivity, OTA updates, and device-to-cloud communication.
 
Required Skills & Experience
Strong C/C++ embedded programming skills.
Experience with microcontrollers (ARM Cortex-M or similar)
Hands-on experience with RTOS-based development.
Hands-on experience with PCB Designing.
Ability to read and understand hardware schematics and PCB layouts.
Familiarity with debugging tools: SWD/JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers.
Understanding of wireless communication stacks (Bluetooth, LTE-M/NB-IoT, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, etc.).
Solid knowledge of hardware interfaces: UART, SPI, I²C, CAN, USB, etc.
 
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering (in relative field)
 
Nice to Have
Experience with Nordic nRF series (nRF9160, nRF5340, nRF52), Espressif ESP32, STM32, or similar SoCs.
Knowledge of low-power system design and IoT device optimization.
Exposure to IoT/cloud ecosystems (AWS IoT, Azure IoT, Golioth, etc.).
Familiarity with PCB design tools ( KiCad, EasyEDA, Altium,, OrCAD) for effective cross-team discussions.
